This artistic family have already earned themselves a number of accolades and moments of recognition. The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Central Operations has partnered with two South Australian Aboriginal artists Mother-daughter duo Kelly Taylor and T’keyah Ware unveiled their commissioned work at a special event to launch the Flying Doctor’s NAIDOC Week celebrations.
The mother-daughter duo producing exquisite First Nations art steeped in history, Antakirinja/Yankunytjatjara/Kokatha/Narungga artists T’keyah Ware and Kelly Taylor discuss working with family and sharing their heritage with the world.
The mother-daughter duo Kelly Taylor and T’Keyah Ware (Ceduna, West Coast), will create an artwork that will be used on greeting cards to be sent across the nation.
T’keyah Ware’s painting titled Great Grandmothers Country featured in the Tarnanthi Art Fair through the Arts Ceduna Centre.
